Cockermouth 1900

The photograph below taken at least 40 years before I was born is from the top of the mill chimney. show the western part of the town including the river and Bridge Street.  The map below is approximately of the same time and I have marked some locations I remember from my childhood.

‘Old Cockermouth’ Facebook page on 11th August 2015.

The postmark on the postcard shows  it was posted in Liverpool on 15/Oct/1904.
